This Week in Links 7/20/12

You know the deal. Links to things I read and enjoyed (and wanted to share).

First up it’s a letter from Tim League on texting, and the proposed “texting friendly” theaters and screenings. Shudder to think.

Audrey Hepburn’s Wait Until Dark keeps blipping onto my radar. This time the Alfred Hitchcock Geek takes a look at how Hitchcockian the film really is.

In more Hitchcock news, MNPP shares the stunning pic of Sienna Miller channeling Tippi Hedren for the upcoming bio-pic The Girl.

I wasn’t planning on linking to anything relating to the theater shooting that took place in Aurora. But our good friend wrote a piece that I agree wholeheartedly with.

And finally, The Mike takes on The Wicker Man as it falls at number 23 on his top 50 horror films list.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the Drafthouse! I hoped I was right. I cannot wait (CANNOT. WAIT.) until they open their Manhattan location. All will be right with the world on that beautiful day.
